Why Upgrade?

Upgrading your agents is one of the most effective ways to increase your earning potential in GPT Gold. While all agents contribute to mining $GGA tokens, higher-tier agents mine faster, last longer between recharges, and unlock unique benefits.

How Upgrades Work

Upgrading an agent enhances its own stats and features without changing it into another agent type. For example, upgrading a GPT-4.0 Agent improves its mining performance, energy duration, and may unlock exclusive visuals — but it remains a GPT-4.0 Agent, not a GPT-4o or GPT-4.5.

To upgrade:

1. Open the NFT Inventory tab in the GPT Gold browser extension.

2. Select an eligible agent (GPT-4, GPT-4o and GPT-4.5).

3. Click Upgrade and confirm the on-chain transaction.

4. Your agent is immediately enhanced.

Upgrades are on-chain, irreversible, and remain tied to your account.

Auto-Leveling Bonus

After reaching a certain interaction threshold, the system will automatically level up one random GGA Agent in your collection — at no cost. This upgrade is granted for free—no $GPT-G tokens are required.
